The threatened Borneo Earless Monitor Lizard is one of the oldest known lizard species in existence. Along with the Yemen Chameleon and the Sailfin Lizard, it is victim to the illegal exotic pet trade. These kidnapped reptiles hidden in a suitcase and confined in plastic bottles are liberated from the black market by a 70 million year old ancestor Borneo Lizard.
